What the work involved, and what changed as a result.
Financial reporting and consolidation
The problem. Quarterly consolidation ran on more than 150 spreadsheets covering 39 real-estate projects across Europe, assembled by hand every cycle.
What we did. Built a data collection pipeline into a new data warehouse aggregating the spreadsheets and the SageX3 accounting system, then a business intelligence layer producing the quarterly dashboards automatically.
Result. Publication of the quarterly report fell from four months to two weeks.
Strategic intelligence database
Built an indicator database of macro-economic KPIs from OECD and Eurostat sources, then a web scraping application targeting competitor and technology sites with keyword-based scoring, generating an executive newsletter.
A 360 degree view of the business
Business intelligence dashboards in MicroStrategy integrating SAP, operational systems and IoT readings, with SQL Server infrastructure maintained and warehouse performance tuned.
Result. We ran and maintained the system and its dashboards for five years.
Core banking system migration
Supported the bank's data team through migration to Temenos T24. Designed the new data warehouse model, implemented MicroStrategy, migrated the existing Business Objects reports, and trained business teams on self-service BI.
Data quality framework
Data quality controls across all of the bank's sources with anomaly reporting dashboards, remediation pipelines, management summary reporting in MicroStrategy, and Power BI prototypes for onward migration.
Private banking customer reporting
Pipelines integrating the bank's data with external Bloomberg market feeds, reporting on MicroStrategy, Oracle performance optimisation, and security protocols meeting private banking confidentiality standards.
